About the LIVE Event

Join us as we present our annual Playwrights Play Readings LIVE IN PERSON! After two long years of not being able to present this event in person we are excited to bring it to you LIVE in various locations around the Finger Lakes Area.

Performances will take place April 22-24: Friday and Saturday at 7:00pm and Sunday at 2:00pm.

Friday Night, April 22 7:00pm , will take place at the Geneva Public Library and is free to the public. When purchasing tickets online we would greatly appreciate a pay-what-you can donation in lieu of a ticket price this evening. Friday Nights performance is sponsored by The Geneva Public Library in order to keep this event accessible to ALL audiences.

Saturday Night, April 23 7:00pm, will take place at Anthony Road Winery. Ticket price includes your admission to the event and a free beverage, alcoholic or non. We will also be providing hors d’oeuvres throughout the evening. Additional Wine purchases will cost extra to the patron.

And finally, Sunday Afternoon, April 24 2:00pm, we will be performing at the newly renovated Dove Block on the corner of Exchange St in Geneva! You will not want to miss the chance to see this amazing venue and performances while taking in the view of downtown Geneva!

 “What to Expect”, written by Chris Woodworth, directed by Eleanor Stearns, with Janet Peck as Meredith and Lara Schmidtgall as Kelly.

“Queersighted” by Jessi Stier will be directed by Steve Duprey, with Melissa Wright as Anna and Loretta Norwalk as ‘Sexuality.’ Cindy Duprey will be narrating.

“Trying” written by Allyson Morgan is being directed by Loren Schmidtgall, Lucas Riegel as Robert, Stanley Weaver as ‘Man 2,’ Kathryn Snyder as ‘Alex’ and Joanne Saracino as ‘Woman 2.’ 

“Vistas” by Mike Byham, with Eliyah Roberts directing and August Deimel as Judd. Ronnie will be played by Stuart Sewell, with May Fansworth providing narration. 

“Midge” by Adrienne LaValle, directed by Linda Stevenson, with Mary Friday as Miriam, Jay Merante as the Marine Guard, and narration by Casandra Sharp.
