A timeless tale of “whodunnit,” Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap strands seven strangers at Monkswell Manor during a blizzard. But a police sergeant unexpectedly arrives, worried that a murderer-at-large is among the guests of the Manor. Before he can investigate, one of the guests is killed, starting an investigation into the lives and histories of everyone there. One of them is the killer, and another one of them may be next. Will the police be able to solve the case before another “mouse” falls? The world’s longest continuously running play for over 70 years, The Mousetrap continues to delight and intrigue mystery lovers of all ages.

Caracter Descriptions
Mollie Ralston: New owner/hostess of Monkswell Manor; anxious about hosting the inn's first guests; married to Giles for one year.
Giles Ralston: Owns Monkswell Manor with his wife Mollie; somewhat arrogant and jealous of the other guests' attentions toward Mollie.
Christopher Wren: Age 20s to 30s. The first guest to arrive at the hotel, Wren is a hyperactive young man who acts in a very peculiar manner. Wren claims to have been named after the architect of the same name by his parents.
Mrs. Boyle: Age 50s to 60s. Mrs. Boyle is an imposing woman in a bad temper; she complains about everything. She is disapproving of every effort that Mollie and Giles produce to make her comfortable.
Major Metcalf: Age 50s to 60s. Major Metcalf is middle-aged, squareshouldered, military in manner and bearing. He is friendly and very polite, and serves as a good counter to Mrs. Boyle during the play’s first act.
Miss Casewell: Age 20s to 30s. A strange, aloof, somewhat masculine woman who speaks offhandedly about the horrific experiences of her childhood.
Mr. Paravicini: Age 40s to 50s. A man of unknown provenance who turns up claiming his car has overturned in a snowdrift. He appears to be affecting a foreign accent and artificially aged with make-up.
Sgt. Trotter: Age late 20s to early 40s. Detective Sergeant Trotter is a cheerful, common-place man who arrives at the guest house on skis to investigate a local murder.

REHEARSALS
Rehearsals will start Monday September 21, 2026 and will run Mondays-Thursdays from 6:30pm-9pm. Starting Friday November 6, 2027 we will be adding Friday evening rehearsals.

Director
Damian Grzeskowiak is a Geneva Theatre Guild board member and a retired English and Theatre teacher from Marcus Whitman High School, where he spent over 20 years directing and designing more than 65 productions. He has also directed at several regional schools and theatres, earning honors from RBTL Stars of Tomorrow, ELENBE, and TANYS.
His favorite projects include Les Misérables, Beauty and the Beast, The Sound of Music, The Crucible, Carousel, Clue: The Musical, James and the Giant Peach, and regional premieres of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Between the Lines, and The Phantom of the Opera.
After touring nationally with Into the Woods, Damian worked in New York City as an actor and teacher, with credits including Saturday Night Live, Stonewall, and various stage and industrial productions. A TANYS Award–winning actor, his local credits include Zorba, A Chorus Line, The Prom, and The Grey Zone. He is excited to be directing again with GTG, having last directed Beauty and the Beast in 2016
